Pink Flag case study

Explore the work Pink Flag did for the Maple Ridge Climate Hub – a non-profit organization focused on advocating for sustainability and climate change mitigation in Maple Ridge.

Maple Ridge Climate Hub

The Maple Ridge Climate Hub (MRCH) is a grassroots non-profit organization aimed to impact climate change efforts at a community and municipal level. Through education, community outreach, and civic engagement, MRCH is fostering a community of green-minded and engaged citizens hoping to make a lasting impact for future generations in the area.

MRCH came to Pink Flag for a rebrand and help with their website and audience engagement. After identifying the organization’s goals, values, ethos and mission, we developed a logo and branding package that told a story about them.

Branding

The MRCH is working to mitigate climate change by preserving Maple Ridge’s waterways and forests and advocating for sustainable development and transportation. Each of the four ‘leaves’ in the logo represent waterways, forests, transportation and development, with the yellow sun in the middle representing the MRCH.

There is a second, more detailed logo that was also designed to be used in presentation material to help explain the goals and tenets of the MRCH.

Web design

The MRCH needed a better looking and functioning website. The aim was to have a clean and modern aesthetic that reflected the local nature they were trying to preserve.
